Editors Needed!

We need volunteers. We cannot pay our editors, but we do offer a benefits package.

This position is only of value to people who wish to earn from affiliate links, have a website to promote, or who wish to build credentials.

Editors may choose any section in this site that does not currently have an editor. All areas are currently open except website design, business startups, and marketing (editor is listed at top of page). Some areas in those categories are flexible. Editors may choose any major site section (from the list of links at the left), or any sub-section (any section listed on any of the pages at the left).

How can this benefit you?

You control advertising and page links. We retain the right to sell certain spots on the pages (you get paid a percentage), and to cross link our own websites, but you can post affiliate links, links to your website, or use the pages otherwise to promote your own knowledge or business. Since you choose a category, you won't have conflicting ads from other businesses on the page unless they pay us for them, and then they will be sidebar or top ads, not context links.

We do require that you stick to the topic listed. And we require that ads be discreet, and that links to your own services be secondary, not the primary purpose of the information. In other words, you need to inform people honestly of options available, with pros and cons, and with your links or listings being a secondary emphasis. This is a more effective means of marketing anyway, so as long as your links are tasteful and not obnoxious, you can benefit from the marketing pull of our website.

You may write articles, or reprint articles from other sources, as long as copyright laws and rights are respected. If you reprint from other sources, you must email permissions for reprinting along with the article. You may do reviews of other sources, and collect resources for the pages. We will give you suggestions if you need ideas of what to do next.

You will have the ability to specify additional pages for the area if needed, to recommend formatting changes in the area, and to select article or informational topics of interest in that category. We do of course retain final approval rights, but you will have a great deal of flexibility and choice over what you do and how. As long as you make regular updates (minimum of monthly updates), we welcome working with you in a mutually beneficial partnership.

What else do you get?

If you require website space, we will allow you to upload your website to our space. Content restrictions do apply (no pornography, hate related, gambling, satanic, illegal or unethical content).

Free membership to our Computer Education website and instructional assistance for computer related issues.

Free website assessment service. We will review your website and make recommendations for improvement. A $25 value.

A reference for credibility. Online each and every credential you can list helps you. Being able to list in your references that you are a contributing editor and writer for SuperMom Unlimited helps to validate your experience.

$Commission$ - If we sell an ad on your editorial page, you will receive a percentage of the payment for as long as the ad runs.

How do you apply?

Email us and give us the following information:

Name, business name, address, phone number, primary business focus, your website address if you have one, editorial page desired (or section), any background credentials or experience (we don't require that you have experience, just that you let us know if you do) and a sample article written by you (half page minimum). Yes, this is a lot of personal information, but we are depending on you to respect legalities and to be reliable. And you know all this about us anyway! We will generally reply with a request for more information if we need it, and make a decision quickly.
