But here are some ideas: Making money is always based on selling something. You sell products, or services. Getting paid is always either direct, or indirect. You get paid from the customer for something they want. No matter how you sell it, whether you are selling a product, service, membership, etc. Indirect payment comes if you produce information that is supported by advertising or sponsorship. The people who pay you are not necessarily the ones who are directly using your product or service. Whatever your business, you are in the business of marketing.
